BAPTISM OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
• Jesus is considered the first person to be baptized with the Holy Spirit Matthew 3:16-17 Luke 3:21-22
Jesus began His ministry and demonstrated His power by casting out demons, healing the sick, and teaching with authority (Luke 4:16-44).
WHO GIVES
Matthew 3:11 I (John) baptize you with water for repentance, but he who is coming after me is mightier than I; I am not worthy to bear His sandals, He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire

WHY DO WE GET
• Given by God so we are ready for God's work and bear fruit for God's kingdom
