Even I knew Harris was lying when she said there were no U.S. troops in harms way--there's ALWAYS someone somewhere, and knowing her security clearance and history with the military, I'm sure Gabbard only mentioned unclassified types of deployments.

But it's a good soundbite, and the Harris campaign counted on their people no fact checking anything.
