This morning in North Gaza, there were golden falafel balls sizzled in hot oil once again, this time filling the Abu Bakr al-Razi and Saed bin Moath School with a mouthwatering aroma of falafel and fresh bread. Our Translating Falasteen x @thesameerproject North campaign team transformed the school into a vibrant hub of warmth and care, baking 400 loaves of bread alongside frying 1,850 falafel pieces.

Families sheltering at the school were the heart of this effort. With freshly baked bread and crispy falafel, we prepared nourishing meals for 185 families.

70 students also enjoyed warm falafel sandwiches delivered straight to their classrooms, bringing smiles and a touch of normalcy to their day.
