Africa Today: Iran-Sudan Ties

The Islamic Republic of Iran and the Republic of Sudan have resumed their diplomatic relations following contacts between their high-ranking officials in recent months that align with their national interests. The two countries have agreed to expand their friendly ties based on mutual respect for their sovereignty, equality, mutual interest, and peaceful coexistence.
Iran and Sudan have also agreed to deepen their ties in different areas that would serve the interests of both nations and be conducive to regional peace and stability.
Sudan’s ambassador to Iran, His Excellency Abdulaziz Hassan Saleh Taha, joins us in the studio to discuss the expanding friendly ties between the two countries.
