Frank Walks Episode 35: Steve Wilkos Presented by BODYARMOR

A spinoff of The Jerry Springer Show, The Steve Wilkos Show is in its 18th season. Wilkos, a former Chicago Police Officer, worked security on the Springer Show beginning in 1994. As the stories on the Springer Show got wilder, Wilkos became a popular figure and was able to quit his job with the police and work full-time in television. This led to him getting his own syndicated talk show in 2007.

Prior to joining the Chicago Police Department, Steve Wilkos served in the Marines. To differentiate his show from Jerry Springer, Steve Wilkos took a more tough but tender approach when confronting guests on his show. I walked with Steve Wilkos during the summer in Central Park when he came to visit New York ahead of his new season.
