Libya: Rivals Haftar's Administration & Tripoli-Based Govt Hold Talks in Morocco | Firstpost Africa

For three years now, Libya remains in a stubborn political deadlock. In the latest, delegations from rival Libyan administrations, the Benghazi-based eastern administration headed by Khalifa Haftar and the Tripoli-based western administration headed by Prime Minister Dbeibah, resumed talks in Morocco. The talks are aimed at ending the current deadlock and preventing Libya from sliding back into chaos. During the negotiations in Bouznika, near the Moroccan capital Rabat, Morocco's Foreign Minister urged both sides to work together and prepare for "credible elections".
