Kid Danger is back in action.

Nickelodeon announced Tuesday that Henry Danger: The Movie, a feature-length follow-up to the hit live-action series, will premiere Friday, Jan. 17 at 7/6c on Nickelodeon (and drop simultaneously on Paramount+). A teaser trailer can be seen below.

In Henry Danger: The Movie, “Henry Danger (Jace Norman) meets a super-fan, eager to fight crime with Kid Danger, who comes into possession of a device that can open up alternate realities. Facing a wild ride, Henry will need his best friend Jasper (Sean Ryan Fox) and his new superfan sidekick to find his way out or be stuck in another dimension forever.

Joining Norman and Fox are fellow original cast members Ella Anderson (as Piper Hart), Michael D. Cohen (as Schwoz) and Frankie Grande (as Frankini), as well as franchise newcomer Glee Dango (as the aforementioned super-fan, Missy Martin).

The original Henry Danger TV series premiered on Nickelodeon in 2014 and followed “the adventures of Henry Hart, who gets selected by superhero Captain Man to be his apprentice. After promising to keep his new identity a secret, Henry must navigate a double life balancing the challenges of high school with the crazy adventures of a crime fighter.”

Henry Danger: The Movie is the latest in a string of feature-length reunions commissioned by Nickelodeon, following the releases of Zoey 102 and The Thundermans Return.

Henry Danger: The Movie is an upcoming American superhero television comedy film based on the Nickelodeon television series Henry Danger (2014–2020). The film is being directed by Joe Menendez from a screenplay by frequent series writers Jake Farrow and Christopher J. Nowak. Jace Norman will be reprising his role as the show's protagonist Henry Hart, joined by additional returning cast members Sean Ryan Fox, Ella Anderson, Michael D. Cohen, and Frankie Grande, with Glee Dango joining the cast. The film will be the last part of the franchise, following the series finale of Danger Force.

Henry Danger: The Movie is scheduled to be released simultaneously on Nickelodeon and Paramount+ on January 17, 2025.[1]

Premise
Henry Hart has been serving as the city of Dystopia's local hero after leaving behind his Swellview days. Just as the trappings of fame begin to weigh on him, a transformative twist unfolds with the introduction of Missy Martin, a dedicated superfan who unexpectedly turns his world upside down.[2]

Production
In May 2017, the president of Viacom's Nickelodeon group announced that a film based on Henry Danger was being developed.[3][4] In January 2022, it was announced that Jace Norman would be returning to Nickelodeon with a major deal to produce and star in original content across all ViacomCBS platforms. As part of the deal, Norman is set to reprise his role as Henry Hart (Kid Danger) in a Henry Danger movie.[5]

Filming
Principal photography began on March 11, 2024 in Vancouver and Richmond, British Columbia, and wrapped on April 18.[2][6]

Release
Henry Danger: The Movie is scheduled to premiere on Nickelodeon and Paramount+ simultaneously on January 17, 2025.[1]

Jace Lee Norman (born March 21, 2000) is an American actor. He starred as Henry Hart in the Nickelodeon television series Henry Danger from 2014 to 2020.

Early life
Jace Lee Norman[1] was born in Corrales, New Mexico on March 21, 2000.[2][3] He moved to Southern California when he was 8. He was bullied for being dyslexic during middle school.[4][5][6] He has an older brother and an older sister.[2]

Career
Norman started his acting career in 2012 with an appearance on Disney's television series Jessie.[7] From 2014 to 2020, he played the lead role in Nickelodeon's sitcom Henry Danger.[8][9] Norman has starred in the Nickelodeon Original Movies, Splitting Adam in 2015,[10] and Rufus in 2016;[11] a sequel to the latter, Rufus 2, aired on Nickelodeon in January 2017, with Norman reprising the starring role.[12] He had his theatrical film debut as the lead voice role in the animated film Spark, released in April 2017.[13][14] In 2019, he starred in the Nickelodeon Original Movie, Bixler High Private Eye, playing the lead role of Xander DeWitt.[15] In 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020, Norman won the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award for Favorite Male TV Star.[16][17][18][19] He won his fifth Kids' Choice Award in a row for the same category in the 2021 Kids' Choice Awards.[20] Since 2020, Norman has been a producer on the Nickelodeon series Danger Force, and has also appeared as a guest star in that series.[21][22] In January 2022, it was announced that Norman will reprise his role in a Henry Danger film set to be released on Paramount+.[23] In 2024, Jace Norman made his directorial debut in Danger Force Season 3 Episode 7 "Hey, Where's Schwoz?".[citation needed]

Personal life
Norman has been actively engaging in business and entrepreneurship, in which he announced that he was opening a restaurant in his hometown Corrales, New Mexico on his Instagram in February 2023.

Creator Edge Media
Norman had been working on entrepreneurial endeavors prior to that, including his own company Creator Edge Media. The company’s essential goal was to bring big brands and social media accounts together to form a more efficient relationship. It was launched in early 2018 when he was 17 years old.[24]
