It was recently revealed that the House Ethics Committee secretly voted to publicize a report on Matt Gaetz's alleged sexual misconduct. His response was an X post of a plan to file a privileged motion to expose every “me too” settlement paid using public funds, even of former members. If Congress is in the business of airing former members’ dirty laundry, it seems only right to apply the same standard to all of them.
