New Details Released: Family Of Five Shot To Death In Utah Home

New details are emerging in the case of a family of five that was found shot to death in their Utah home after relative contacted police for a welfare check.

Police now saying the father killed four of his family members before killing himself.

The bodies inside the house were:
The 42-year-old father of the family, The 38-year-old mother, an 11-year-old son, a 9-year-old daughter and 2-year-old daughter.

The bodies of the mother and the two daughters were in a bedroom in the upper level of the home.

The bodies of the father and the 11-year-old son were in the living room of the home.

The 17-year-old son was in the garage – he was shot in the head, suffered a severe brain injury but survived– he was taken to a hospital where he remains in critical condition.

A small handgun was found under the body of the father. Police saying that there was no note, no motive, and no past history of calls to the home.
