Canada’s Federal Government essentially imploded on Monday with the explosive resignation of Deputy Prime Minister & Finance Minister Freedland. In possibly the dumbest political move in 25 years Prime Minister Trudeau called her Friday and fired her but told her to stay & present last Monday’s Economic Statement, she thought about it for a while & resigned. It created a firestorm of controversy. Then the Housing Minister quit sighting his lack of confidence in the Government. As the Prime Minister searched to find a new Finance Minister to people told him to forget it they wouldn’t do it. Eventually the Prime Minister’s old Babysitter Dominic LeBlanc said Yes.
