True Stories Episode 1 - Smellavator

INT. HOTEL KITCHEN - MORNING
SOUND of sizzling pans, clinking dishes
BILL, an 18-year-old, lanky, and slightly awkward teenager, is rushing around the kitchen, juggling trays of food. He’s got a stack of breakfast orders, each one a potential disaster waiting to happen.
BILL: (muttering to himself) Room 558, pancakes, bacon, and orange juice.
He grabs the tray and heads to the elevator. As he steps inside, he feels a rumble in his stomach. He tries to ignore it, but it grows stronger with each passing second.
The elevator starts moving, and Bill’s face turns a shade of crimson. He clenches his butt cheeks, hoping to hold it in. But it’s too late.
*A loud, earth-shattering fart echoes through the elevator. Bill’s eyes widen in horror. He’s the only one in the elevator, so he can’t help but let out a giggle.
Just as he’s about to compose himself, the elevator dings and the doors open on the fourth floor. A beautiful young woman, BILL’S CRUSH, steps into the elevator. She gives him a friendly smile, but it quickly turns to a look of disgust as she catches a whiff of the air.
Bill’s face turns as red as a tomato. He tries to play it cool, but his nervous laughter and sheepish grin give him away. The woman rolls her eyes and exits the elevator, leaving Bill alone with his embarrassment.
Despite the humiliating incident, Bill manages to muster up the courage to ask the woman out later that month. Surprisingly, she agrees. Perhaps his honesty and awkward charm had won her over.
