- These exercises provide a complete full-body workout while building the strength required for strongman competitions—using just a barbell, dumbbells, and rings. - If I were at a commercial gym, I’d have added some farmer’s walks as well.Zercher:places a significant demand on the core and can quickly develop incredible strength in the legs, erectors, and core when consistently incorporated into your routine.Stretching:- I’m combining two approaches: one to increase blood flow to the muscles and another to open up the joints for a full range of motion. - This helps me hit depth and maintain total control throughout the set.I competed in Strongman Nationals in 2018, and there’s something about the thrill of this sport that keeps pulling me back. To bring more variety to my strongman training at home, I’ll be adding sandbags, a log, and a farmer’s carry bar to my gym.
