Two days after Donald Trump’s landslide 2024 electoral victory, outgoing President Joe Biden announced, “I direct my entire administration to work with his team to ensure a peaceful and orderly transition.” This appeared to track with Biden’s oft-asserted commitment to “democracy.”

Unfortunately, what has happened since suggests that the Biden team has been using this lengthy transition period to lock in agendas, policies and priorities it has pursued over the past four years – but that were rejected by a majority of voters in this fall’s elections.

This CPDC webinar examines how what amount to serial efforts by the outgoing administration and its allies to subvert the incoming one are advancing the interests of, among others, the Chinese Communist Party.

Such efforts include: continuing to allow into the country large numbers of illegal aliens, including apparent People’s Liberation Army soldiers; recruiting Chinese nationals into the U.S. Navy; unexplained inaction on unidentified drones operating near sensitive facilities; increasing our energy insecurity; controversial pardons; plans to interfere with the certification of the Trump victory; and the Justice Department’s ongoing prosecutions of January 6th defendants while it turns a blind eye towards preparations for disruptions of the upcoming inauguration.
