The Witcher 4 is in Trouble and Ciri Being Ugly is Only a Symptom...

The Witcher 4 controversy is so much deeper than if Ciri has been made uglier to appeal to the modern audience. CD Projekt Red is staffed with woke activists that prioritize all the worst aspects of the industry above everything else, so that is far more important for the health of the game than any aesthetic choices. If the people tasked with writing a story cannot rise to the task, then the game is cooked.

What will further drag down the perception of the game is the weirdos CDPR are trying to target by moving away from Geralt. Ideologues that want their world view reinforced at the cost of the health of a franchise have driven entertainment into the ground. They appear to be circling the wagons on this once in tandem with Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet from Naughty Dog.
