Houthis Launch Hypersonic Ballistic Missile at Israel’s Tel Aviv | Firstpost America

Yemen-based Houthis launched a hypersonic capable ballistic missile at Israel’s Tel Aviv. The Iran-backed group said that the missile, which has been codenamed “Palestine 2”, was fired at Israel in response to the Israeli military's actions in Gaza and Lebanon. Houthis also said that "Palestine 2" was launched in solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza. Meanwhile, Israel said the missile was intercepted successfully and no damage was caused by the Houthi ballistic missile. However, after the missile launch, the United States Central Command activated its forces and carried out precision airstrikes on key command and control facilities belonging to the Houthis in Yemen.
