Luigi Mangione Indicted For First Degree Murder by New York Grand Jury

Luigi Mangione has been indicted for the murder of 50-year-old Brian Thompson, the UnitedHealthCare CEO who was gunned down in midtown Manhattan earlier this month.
The New York grand jury charging Mangione with one count of 1st degree murder and two counts of 2nd degree murder among other Charges.
The 26-Year-Old alleged killer has been fighting extradition to New York, after being arrested in Pennsylvania, where he remains behind bars facing both weapons and forgery charges. Mangione is expected to waive his right to fight extradition with officials believing he could be in New York by this Friday.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg announcing the indictment at news conference in what he called a ‘brazen’ attack that was frightening and well planned.
Mangione faces a maximum of life without the possibility of parole
