Each year at this time, we are beckoned by the whole world to enter a celebratory mode--and yet, for a variety of reasons, Christmas is often a sad and difficult holiday for many. Perhaps, however, we are looking for joy in the wrong places. As we seek a balm of encouragement in the true and spiritual reason for the holiday, we focus this week upon God's "Christmas Tree," as referenced in Gal. 3:13: "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, having become a curse for us—for it is written, 'CURSED IS EVERYONE WHO HANGS ON A TREE'"...
