Storm Shield Forecast morning update 7/18/18
6 years ago
The county is just as hot today with more 100s in the valley and Kern River Valley and low 90s in the south mountains, but we're seeing increasing clouds thanks to the return of monsoonal moisture pushing in from Arizona. The continued 100s in the desert will evaporate most of the moisture but it also adds to the instability needed to trigger thunderstorms.
