Anti-aircraft gunners of the Center group of forces covered the positions of Russian troops from reconnaissance drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Krasnoarmeysk direction

The crew of the Strela-10 anti-aircraft missile system of the Center group of forces destroyed an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, providing cover for the ground group in the Krasnoarmeysk direction of the special military operation.

During combat work to control airspace, the observation post crew detected an enemy reconnaissance UAV of the aircraft type. After determining the direction and azimuth of the flying drone, the data was transmitted to the crew of the Strela-10 air defense missile system. The servicemen brought the complex to combat readiness, brought it to the firing line and, after capturing the target, launched a missile, destroying the enemy Leleka aerial reconnaissance aircraft.

In addition, servicemen shot down a homemade loitering munition of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which caught fire in the air and detonated upon impact with the ground. Due to the high intensity of the enemy's use of reconnaissance UAVs, anti-aircraft gunners constantly change firing positions, not staying in one place and not allowing the enemy to detect combat vehicles.
