North Kansas City hopes to extend life of roads with micro-paving approach
Repost
By the time some people living in North Kansas City get home from work, their street could have a fresh layer of pavement. The city is in the process of resurfacing residential roads. It’s using a method called micro-paving or micro-surfacing. The city's mayor said micro-surfacing extends the life of the road considerably. For cost comparison, tearing out and replacing the pavement costs three to four times more than micro-surfacing.
