There are a few different types of aficionados out there. Some are people who are most excited about the community that comes with the cigar lifestyle. They're the ones who want to find a great group of people and spend time exploring the world of premium blends that they consider to be reasonable. The others are people who are always after the ultra-premium, high end, over-hyped, rare blends. And it's the people in the latter group who tend to look down on the cigar selections of the people in the previous group. And that's why I'm making this video today.

During my nearly 10 years in the cigar world I have seen no shortage of people 'correcting' others for choosing the 'wrong' cigar. It's something that routinely irks me. As a cigar lover myself, I have been on a very long cigar journey that has had me exploring cigars of every type and variety. I know what level of quality exists at every level. In this video, I'm confronting the so called 'cigar snobs'. My hope is to present a different perspective on choosing premium blends. Some people might be on a budget, others are just too principled to spend more than a certain amount on any cigar. But regardless of the reason, we'd all be better off to focus on the heart of what cigars are about - enjoying balanced and complex blends while investing in the massive community of other cigar lovers that are around us.
