KCSO helicopter rescues man trapped on rock in Kern River Canyon

The Kern County Sheriff's Office has been called to the Kern River to help with a rescue on Monday afternoon. According to KCSO, a woman called into dispatch saying her boyfriend was "taken by the river" and ended up on a rock. KCSO says the man was not wearing a life vest. KCSO says the man was about a mile east of the Kern River Canyon.
