Olaf Scholz faces confidence vote (and he actually wants to lose it)

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz set to call for a confidence vote against himself on Monday, officially asking the parliamentarians of the Bundestag whether they might wish to do him the honor of drop-kicking his authority straight into the dumpster of history.
