Follow Me on an Average Weekday on the Island

Just a regular day balancing work and boat life. Started the day at my job and then knocked out some errands after I clocked out.

First stop was Dick’s Sporting Goods to pick up a kayak roller for the car. Living on the boat means I rely on my kayak to get to shore, and this roller is going to make it a lot easier to load and unload my heavy kayak when I’m out running around.

After that, I swung by Ross. I’ve been needing some new sweatpants for sleeping on the boat, and they’ve usually got decent stuff without breaking the bank.

Dinner was at Local Pie—a great pizza spot nearby. Sometimes, you’ve got to treat yourself after a long day. Ended things at Walmart to grab a new pillow because, honestly, sleep is too important to mess around with.

Nothing fancy, just a busy day getting the stuff I need to keep life on the water running smoothly.
