Plant of the Week - Dazey Chain - was offered between December 14, 2024 through December 21, 2024.

Dazey Chain is a member of the Contain-Mint family.
Dazey Chain costs 150 Sun. (-25 Sun at levels 5 and 9.)
Dazey Chain starts with one (1) open flower. An additional flower will open after it has fired 12 times; up to a maximum of three (3) open flowers.
Each attack will do 20 damage. (+5 damage per level.)
Each flower does its own attack, to a maximum of three (3) attacks.
When a flower opens, a puff of stunning gas is released. This gas will stun from 2-6 seconds depending on the number of open flowers and the level.

Commentary:
Dazey Chain has multiple abilities which typically makes this plant worth taking a look at.

Bottom Line:
Dazey Chain has the problem that many multiple effect plants have; average at a few thing but a master of none. The projectiles can be reflected, redirected and can be swarmed. The stun puff ball is a nice ability but not something that drastically changes things.

Dazey Chain can be used as a solid backer but one needs to be prepared for challenges.

We do not get a preview of Penny's Pursuit before it is released. So what you see is what players get.

We also try to vary the strategies from week to week and showcasing different plants and strategies and ideas. Using the same strategy week after week would be boring to see.
