Is Jesus Really The Reason For The Season?

"Let us not forget 'Jesus is the reason for the season!' It is not about what you can get, but what you can give. It is a time to be merry, get together with family, celebrate Jesus' birth, and to NOT care what God wants! 

It does not matter what HE wants, how HE wants to be worshipped. It only matters what Christmas means to me! It doesn't matter that the Christmas traditions started out as pagan and that Santa, the elves, Christmas trees, mistletoe, Christmas lights, caroling, etc all have pagan origins. because those things mean something different to me. It doesn't matter that the Bible never says to commemorate Jesus' birth, only His death and resurrection, it only matters that WE decided to do this. And who cares if we pick a day that was already a pagan high holy day, that other gods were born on, because we made this day a Christian holy day."

Yeah I want to see you try that argument on judgement day! By no means am I perfect, but to straight out directly disregard what God says shows the spoiled and rebellious heart of the church today. You can show people all the Scriptures you want and tell them the pagan origins of all these Christmas traditions and they will not care and will go on celebrating what they want the way they want. 

Every year during this season it's hard for me to sit and watch the blatant disregard for what God and Yeshua said by professed believers, preached from the pulpit, taught on every Christian radio station and TV show, with Jingle Bells along with Here Comes Santa Claus played on Christian radio. The paganism in the church disgusts me. 

Yet all these believers think that they are going to heaven. How can that be? Do they not believe Yeshua was serious, that He wasn't telling the truth when He said "those who come to me and say Lord Lord... Then I will tell them, ‘I never knew you. Depart from me, you who work lawlessness!" What, do all these christians think that the scripture is talking about somebody else, not them? Father have you blinded them, have you given them over to their sin? Lord please, open their eyes to see your truth in how you want to be worshipped. For, I know that you are a jealous God that does not want to be worshipped as the pagan gods are worshipped. Give them understanding of what the Christ Mass really is. If they still deny you, do with them as you will; my hands are clean. I blew the trumpet when the enemy was coming.

My soul is crushed, the heaviness of the pagan worship during this time weighs down on me. So, Father God, I know it must on you as well. I would like to say "forgive them father for they know not what they do" but when you tell them the truth and show them the Scriptures they don't care.

In Jeremiah 6:17 Yahweh said, “I appointed prophets as watchmen to warn you, saying: ‘Pay attention to the warning sound of the trumpet!’” But they said, “We will not pay attention!” 

Seek the truth and be an Acts 17 Berean.
