Cleaning Summer Fountains & Emergency Repotting After Heavy Rain

In today’s video, I’m tackling a couple of garden chores that have been piling up! First, I cleaned up the murky floating solar fountains. They’re a fun summer addition, but no one tells you about the algae, wasps, and hard water stains that come with them. I scrubbed out the water tubs, packed the fountains away for the season, and made a few changes to make future cleanups easier—like ditching the rocks in the tubs. Plus, I added some algaecide to keep the water clear and wasp-free.

Next up, an emergency repotting! After last night's heavy rain, my beautiful Cupressus trees in tall pots were waterlogged, and those drainage holes just weren't cutting it.
