Firefighters Pull Cow from Pit Using Leg

This is the moment bungling firefighters ended up pulling a 680 kg (1,500lb) cow out of a hole by its front leg after a makeshift harness made from a fire hose slipped when they were rescuing it from a sewage pit. The incident took place in of Sfantu Gheorghe located in the central Romanian region of Covasna County. According to local media the cow had been returning from grazing at the end of the day when she fell down a sewage pit and got stuck. Luckily, fire crews arrived in time to pull the animal free.
