Bird Flu Frenzy Fuels Risky Experiments: Jaxen Report on The Highwire

The US government ratched up bird flu paranoia this week with the USDA announcing this week they will be testing all raw and unpasteurized milk for H1N1. Meanwhile, scientists are testing how close an H1N1 mutation is to being able to transmit to humans, sparking interest in the timing of this new pandemic push.

Watch the NZ government follow suit. It is important to remember that we are surrounded by viruses. Their presence does not indicate disease. Non-sterile sites where viruses, bacteria and other organisms reside without causing disease in most instances include dairy products, the nose and mouth of animals and humans, waste water, and the environment.
