SYNDUALITY: Echo of Ada unfolds in the year 2222, long after a cataclysmic event known as "The Tears of the New Moon," a toxic rain, decimated the majority of humanity and gave rise to grotesque creatures that now stalk the remnants of civilization. Amidst this chaos, human survivors constructed an underground refuge known as Amasia, where they discovered and forged alliances with advanced artificial intelligences known as Magus. As players immerse themselves in the game, they assume the roles of Drifters, resourceful individuals who eke out a living by gathering rare AO crystals, a valuable commodity found on Earth. During their quest, they must confront otherworldly beings called Enders, all while relying on their AI companions, the Magus, to guide them through perilous encounters, lend support in battles, and offer invaluable assistance by providing directions, hints, and warnings along their arduous journey.
