Jamie Foxx, 57, sustained a mouth injury requiring stitches after an altercation during his birthday dinner at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills on Friday night. According to his spokesperson, "someone from another table threw a glass that hit him in the mouth." Foxx is currently recovering, and the incident is under police investigation.

Witnesses reported that patrons at another table were behaving rudely and using vulgar language. When Foxx requested they stop due to his family's presence, an individual allegedly threw the glass that injured him.

This incident comes shortly after Foxx publicly discussed a serious health scare from 2023. In his recent Netflix special, "What Had Happened Was...," he revealed that a brain bleed led to a stroke, resulting in a prolonged hospital stay. Reflecting on his recovery, Foxx expressed gratitude for being alive to celebrate another birthday.

The Beverly Hills Police Department responded to the incident at 10:06 p.m. on Friday. While no arrests have been made, the investigation is ongoing.
