Killjoy's Exploits: Rise of The Robots [Sega Game Gear] (Full Run)

KEP-6: This is a full run of the only version of the infamous 1990s synthetica brawler "Rise of The Robots" to be issued on a handheld console.

As is the case with all the other versions of this notoriously bad game, you play a muscular cyborg [more like a mechanical beefcake version of Pepsiman!] who has to clobber his way through a motley assortment of robotic mooks in order to reach the boss - The Supervisor [a female T-1000].

You know, this version actually plays the best of all the versions of RotR out there. It is fast-paced, controls move smoother [keep in mind I played this on Kega Fusion emulator software] and if nothing else, stoners will love watching this as those funky psychedelic backgrounds unique to this version are quite the trip! While I consider the Genesis version of RotR to be closest to being the best of the bunch, this Game Gear port is essentially an equal, so consider both to be equal best, although if you want, you can consider the Game Gear as superior due to the fast controls.

Gameplay Recorded on: April 2024

Player: Mile "The Killjoy" Sipka

Footage recorded through the capture subprogram contained in Kega Fusion emulator, converted into MP4 using VLC, audio extracted and boosted then recombined into one file using Openshot Video Editor.

BTW I used a hacking cheat codes for infinite health - I placed the code in the index picture [thumbnail] for this playthrough, so look carefully and you'll find it [it ain't hard!]
