My sales slash operations job doesn’t stop for a second!
My computer is my weapon
I’ve noticed that my phone is just a distraction
I am way more efficient when I throw my phone under the couch and ignore all the noise

Because when my customers email me, they know they will get a reaction
It’s sad but true, but there is no more human interaction

I get and have to respond to 200-300 emails a day
All while entering orders and typing like a madman!
I negotiate pricing through digital waves. No emotion.
This is what I need, take it or leave it or meet me in-between

My day flies by so fast I feel like my life is wasting away
I really miss the good ‘ol days with my pager and payphones
Being on the streets talking to people face to face
Now I am worried sick about my daughter’s future which may be a social disgrace

What’s even more scary is we are at the infancy stage of the digital age.
Soon we will have running satellites in the air so we can play on the phone anywhere
Noise will be the silent killer
Bing, ring, ding
We will be talking less and turning into machines

Our minds will be in overdrive with the likes of Tik Tok, Facebook, Instagram and the news
And as far as YouTube, should I continue to advertise my videos when likes are low and dislikes are high?
You can put lipstick on a bloated pig but it’s just superficial cosmetics. It’s still a pig.

The system is rigged
I have 181,000 subscribers
Yet less than 1% view my videos

Move forward or not?
As far as I know my subs are bots

No comments. No engagement.

That’s okay. Never thought it would work out anyway

It’s like throwing a rubber ball against a wall
The entertainment business is surrounded by a huge fence
If my channel was information based, maybe I’d have a chance.
I was just sharing my thoughts while in a trance

I guess I’ll stop beating a dead horse
Because you think my videos are raw and coarse.
But I won’t deviate and fall off course.

It’s still my therapy
Even if you don’t agree

From now on, it’s going to grow organically without advertising

I was just trying to throw out some wit and wisdom for the younger generation.

I’d rather not give google more money
Oh well, I guess I’ll be in the freight industry until I am 80
