Welcome along to another fantastic N8 zoom with Liz on this special Friday 13th Dec.

Today we chat with Liz about Section 83 letters and the power those letters had from the beginning - unrecognised by uneducated employers - but Liz as always on the money from the get go. N8 had a recent win with this in the Employment Court in the case of Nicola Preece v Synlait Milk. The court found by Ms Preece sending a Section 83 letter, to her now ex employers, did raise her safety concerns. The Substantive part of Ms Preece's case will be heard in the ERA.
So all those people who sent the letters well done!! And their employers - Look out here comes N8!

We also chat about Employment Relations Act section 103(a) Unjustified dismissal and 103(b) unjustified action.

We chat about Number 8 snapshots, the list of lawyers that partied with the govt to facilitate the role with all the amazing "advice" -not- which was given to employers who were silly enough to follow along blindly without doing their won due diligence! They are now paying the price - literally!

We also chat about section 114(6) ERA 3 years to raise a PG.

Another zuper zoom with Liz.
