#10 - Guys In A Garage - James Tennery

James Tennery is the manager of Arrow Point Resort in Coeur d'Alene Idaho. Today he came in to talk about growing up in Sacramento, CA and starting of in the working world as a tile setter working for his girlfriends dad while also working catering and restaurant jobs for his friends families' business. James also studied photo journalism in college and has done a lot of side work as a photographer with a lot of interesting things in his portfolio. After a short stint in the Marine Corps, hr decided hospitality was best suited to his personality and people skills and has worked managing numerous resorts in Napa, a campground in Tahoe through Covid and moved to Idaho to care for his dad. From playing Rugby till he was 35, running a restaurant for a short time with a friend, being a single dad, shooting photos for The Suicide Girls and musicians in Tahoe, pondering the L.A. paparazzi scene and dealing with celebrities on vacation, James has quite a story to tell.
