Breaking Down Autistic Stigmatization

Luke 15:1-7
The Parable of the Lost Sheep
Now the tax collectors and sinners were all drawing near to him. And the Pharisees and the scribes grumbled, saying, “This man receives sinners and eats with them.”
So he told them this parable: “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’ Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.
This is a parable that Jesus Christ shared long ago. Jesus Christ was the only perfect human being to live and walk on this earth. His pattern was and is perfect because He was God in the flesh. No stigma, no label, nothing can seperate those who repent of his or her sin and accept Jesus Christ as his or her Lord and personal savior: neurotypical, autistic, or any other kind of neuro-processing of humanity.
Jesus Christ loves you, loves your loved ones, Jesus Christ loves every single human being. Human life is irreplaceable and eternally valuable. Each human being was made in the image of God. Nothing, absolutely nothing, can separate those who believe and follow Jesus Christ from God.
So before or after you listen to this video, autistic or neurotypical, please remember that. Though people make mistakes, God does not. God’s love is perfect. To know God’s true, pure, and perfect love; seek and find Jesus Christ.
Though I stumbled through this video, because of the depth of the painful content of sharing this information; its essential to understand to know what autistic people go through at every age, in every culture, everywhere. The only way to combat the stigmas around autism is to bring light to the reality and truth of what stigmatization does. Here is the research paper link that I reference in this video. It was too massive of a paper for me to cover everything in this video. If you would like to see and read the paper yourself, here it is.
