This video was from back in October when I attended an educational chess conference in St. Louis surrounding chess. At this particular conference, multiple of the panel members presented their findings on autism and how chess is being used in different countries around the world to help strengthen cogitative capabilities of autistic children across the spectrum. There have been many world chess champions that were on the autistic spectrum, such as Bobby Fischer and Paul Morphy. The lack of human understanding on the behavioral patterns of autistic people has caused significant harm to autistic people throughout history. This is why it is important to start addressing these issues openly and publicly to create better education and therapeutic treatments for autistic children and people in general that actually understand how autistic minds operate instead of only seeing autism from neurotypical perspectives.

Autistic neuro-processing is how autistic people process information at higher and lower rates in specific neurological regions depending on the genetic inheritance an autistic person inherits. Learning how autistic people communicate in a multitude of ways is essential to actually help autistic people grow and develop in the healthiest ways possible.
