Senator-Elect Kevin Jensen: Could This New Prison Be Planned For Trump's Mass Deportation Plan?

Senator-Elect Kevin Jensen, the Guardian of Unintended Consequences, is back to share his speculation on why the prison that could potentially cost the SD taxpayers upwards of a billion dollars is being pushed so hard with no attempts by those in charge to be open, honest and transparent. Instead, they're being misleading and cutting out key people whose job is specifically about our prison system and doing what's best for the taxpayers and prisoners. On top of that, policy changes within the prisons seemed to have resulted in safety issues for both prison guards and prisoners, losing visitation and religious rights, and also the ability for the prison to make a revenue to offset costs and also help prisoners pay restitution, child support and the cost for them being there, relieving the state of some of those costs through good jobs long-term prisoners used to be able to do in the prison but is now shut down.
Why would Noem put such a heavy financial burden onto SD taxpayers for ONE prison, when the current one is fine, and why would those in charge of getting the project done be so misleading and secretive?
