In the twilight years of British commercial aviation, the Jetstream, which had originally started as a failed regional turboprop under Handley Page, suddenly managed to fill a vital niche in the airliner market, but its success was unfortunately short lived as its revival under British Aerospace pushed the model just one step too far.
