Woman Runs into Random Home During Police Chase

On March 24th, 2023, a patrolling officer identified a suspect who had an active warrant for failure to appear in court for auto burglary and decided to detain her. The suspect, observing the officer following her, tried to run into an apartment in an attempt to escape. After an additional officer arrived on the scene, the female was checked for possessions and then transported to the back of the squad car. The female was shivering, non-cooperative and refused medical help. When EMS arrived, officers had to pull her out of the car to get her checked. During the entire arrest, the female was curled up in a ball and kept asking the officer to hurry. She claimed that she had ingested fentanyl the day before and was coming down from the high. The female was soon transported to the jail where she refused to even walk out of the patrol vehicle. The officer then had to drag her in. The female was very uncooperative during the booking process and the officers had to lift her onto the bench to check her medical conditions.
