Calisthenics Grip Training Options
If you're not into climbing ropes there are alternative ways for you to strengthen your grip. Grip strength is an indicator of longevity. However, it might just be a sign of a robust neuromuscular system. It can still be a fun way to train and build up those Popeye arms though.
You can use a rope or a simple bath towel that’s of sufficient length. If you have a pair of thick socks can use those too. Horizontal bars for rows or pull-ups are great. But a rope or towel can provide you with some more freedom in where you can train your pulling strength.
One of the things I wish I’d done more of in the past is more grip work. I’ll be making up for that now.
