YAH YEHOVAH! - Worship Music Video

DESCRIPTION

Yah is the shortened form for the Divine Name YHVH pronounced Ye-ho-VAH (accent on the last syllable). Yah combines the first letter of the first syllable Yeho-, with the last syllable -aH.

Psalm 68:4 Sing to God, sing praises to His name;
Extol Him who rides on the clouds, By His name YAH,
And rejoice before Him.

While Yah is a substitute for Yehovah, there are two instances where they are printed together. Isaiah used YAH YEHOVAH in order to emphasize God’s STRENGTH.

This became my inspiration to write a song with both YAH YEHOVAH together. I took phrases from the verses that contained YAH, and compared them with supporting verses that further described the same subject. So, YAH YEHOVAH is a biblically correct song.

For example:
Psalm 68:4 says that YAH rides on the clouds.
Psalm 104:3 says that YEHOVAH makes the clouds His chariot,
and walks on the wings of the wind.

The first verse combines both of these supporting verses.

riding on the clouds, so high,

Here are the two occurrences of YAH YEHOVAH together.

Behold, God is my salvation,
I will trust and not be afraid;
'For YAH, YEHOVAH, is my
strength and song;
He also has become my salvation.'

Trust in YEHOVAH forever,
For in YAH, YEHOVAH, is
everlasting strength.

- Isaiah 26:4

I used udio.com to add music and vocals to my words. I think the result is a very powerful song that will definitely bring you into God’s Presence. Originally I was going to use the title image as a still background to the music. However, the Holy Spirit prompted me that I could make this a motion video by using scenic drone footage from the internet, especially from KerniFPV. Amazingly, I was able to find videos that matched the lyrics as well as give a sense of euphoria from the motion. I hope you this video blesses you!
