The Story Behind "Crazy Mary": An Abstract Horror Portrait

Good day, friends!
Today, I’m excited to share an intriguing new piece titled "Crazy Mary." As I’ve mentioned before, I often begin painting without a clear idea in mind, letting the process guide me. This piece started with an underpainting, and I wasn’t sure where it was heading.
As I added more color to the canvas, an idea started to take shape. Amidst the chaos of color, I envisioned a face. The rest unfolded naturally, and the result was this eerie, ghostly figure—someone you might see in a horror movie.
What do you think? Did I achieve the unsettling, "crazy" vibe I was going for? Let me know in the comments below!
Thank you for watching! If you enjoyed this video, I’d love it if you could like the video and subscribe to my channel for more artwork. Have a wonderful day!
