In Matthew 25, Jesus Christ gave examples of the 10 virgins, the talents, and the judgment of the sheep and goats to warn His disciples to live carefully and prepare for the day when Jesus Christ returns.
Jesus warned His disciples to be vigilant in their lives and to be faithful to what they were given, and to manifest the character of Jesus Christ in their lives so that they would be ready for Jesus’ return.
But now those disciples have all left this world, and Jesus has not yet returned. So, when those disciples obey and follow these warnings, do they benefit them?
The answer is, they benefit greatly. If any disciple of Jesus Christ lives according to these warnings of His, even though Jesus Christ does not return in their lifetime, they benefit greatly and will not regret the day when Jesus Christ returns, which will happen soon.
So, my beloved brothers and sisters, whether Jesus Christ returns in our lifetime or not, if we obey and follow these warnings, it will benefit us who believe in Jesus greatly. On the day he returns
The person on the right who will receive eternal blessings is not only the one who claims to be a Christian, but also the one who lives a Christian life, that is, the characteristics of Christ are revealed in him. This can only happen if we allow the Holy Spirit to change our lives.
"When we stand before Christ, there is nothing that can be changed. If there is anything that you want to change, change it today." How can you apply the words of Matthew 25 to your daily life? Let's start thinking about it together now.
✝️✝️ Jesus taught his disciples by using parables to always be ready and to use what God has given them faithfully so that they will not have regrets at the last day.
Jesus used the parable of the 10 virgins to teach that some people almost entered the feast of God, but they did not live wisely, were short-sighted, focused only on the present, and did not think about the future, so they missed out on the feast of God. This is different from those who thought about the future and prepared themselves in case Jesus' return was at a time they did not expect. Therefore, they must always be prepared.
Before jumping to the conclusion that Let's be like the five wise women. Let's think again and see if we are ready for Jesus' return.
Some people used to be a lamp that shines brightly. The Holy Spirit is full in their lives, leading their lives, controlling their lives. So they reflect the life of righteousness in their lives. But now!!! Those things are just history. Now God is no longer the master of their lives. They have stopped following Jesus. Even though they still go to church, their lamps may be running out of oil or may have run out.
If you know someone like that, please wake them up quickly, fill their lamps with oil, and let God make their lives shine again before it is too late.
✝️✝️ Jesus Christ used the parable of the talents to teach that what God has entrusted to us must produce fruit.
The understanding of the gospel that we receive, even if we do nothing, just deposit it in the bank, it will produce different results from the first day we receive the gospel into our lives. That person's life will definitely change for the better. For those who receive it and truly believe, by showing it through applying it in their lives, it will bring about changes and produce many spiritual fruits in their lives, which will bring great rewards to them when Jesus returns.
But for those who hear and just receive it, just simply acknowledge it. They don't do anything with it, they just bury it in the ground. No matter how much time passes, nothing changes in their life. Everything remains the same and the same. Such people do not truly believe in the greatness of God, they only know it in their heads. They will be left in a place where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when Jesus Christ returns.
Today!!! Has the word of God given to us come into effect, bringing about change in our lives? In other words, do we really believe in the word of God?
Those who truly believe in the gospel will certainly have a spiritual change in their lives.
✝️✝️ Today, my brothers and sisters, have we treated others, especially those whom society considers worthless or unimportant, in the same way that Jesus Christ would have treated them?
Have we truly trusted in Jesus Christ to the point of truly accepting Him as the Lord of our lives, and reflected in our conduct of life in line with Jesus? "Those who have Christ in their lives will have the characteristics of Christ in their lives."
Dearest Pida, please help us to have the excellent wisdom from You, to understand this profound message of Yours, and to put it into practice to produce good results, to let our lives shine for Your people, to bring people to Your kingdom. Please use us, Your children, in the name of Jesus Christ.
