Felon Caught After 1 Year on the Run from Detention Facility

on 6/8/24 officers with the Des Moines police department were at a gas station when they got a call over the radio of a man who was in a bar fight then eluded the area. The officers were given a description of a tan Chevy Cruze.

the officers were driving around looking for the car and located it not far from the incident.
