Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko confirmed on December 10 that nuclear weapons are now in Belarus, claiming they are "five times more powerful than the Oreshnik," Russia's new hypersonic missiles. He dismissed concerns about their undetected arrival and warned of an immediate response to any aggression. His remarks align with a Belarus-Russia security treaty allowing mutual defence.

In Ukraine, President Zelensky thanked US President-elect Trump for his resolve to end the war, claiming “Putin fears only him.” He also rejected calls to lower Ukraine’s draft age, focusing on providing missiles to weaken Russia.

The Kremlin confirmed Russia’s war will continue until Putin's objectives are met. Sergey Naryshkin claimed Russia is nearing victory, while Polish official Jacek Siewiera warned against Polish troops in Ukraine, citing a lack of manpower to recapture occupied territories.
