Yuri Bezmenov exposed the Control of Western Society by KGB (Los Angeles 1983)

He noted that this phase involves creating a population that cannot distinguish between right and wrong, effectively undermining their moral compass

2. Destabilization: Lasting two to five years, this phase targets critical areas such as the economy, foreign relations, and defense systems. The goal is to create instability within these structures, making the society vulnerable to further manipulation and crisis

3. Crisis: This stage can occur rapidly, within about six weeks, and is characterized by a significant event or upheaval that disrupts the existing order. Bezmenov suggested that this crisis could lead to a violent change in power and governance, further facilitating the subversion process

4. Normalization: The final step involves establishing a new status quo where the society operates under a different ideological framework. This phase may include military intervention or other forms of control, solidifying the changes initiated in previous stages
