Driver Leaves Road, Goes Into Trees, ONALASKA, December 10, 2024 - At approximately 9:52 pm on December 10, 2024, the driver of a black 2007 Lincoln MKZ was west-bound on US-190 West when she left the pavement to the right and went into the trees across 190 from Cedar Point. Allegiance Ambulance Service was dispatched to the scene along with Deputy Adam McDowell with the Polk County Sheriff's Office and Trooper Simon Mijares with The Texas Highway Patrol. When first responders arrived, the driver, Amy Marie Nicolosi, 44, of Diboll was unconscious. Once Nicolosi regained consciousness, she was able to speak with first responders. There was no smell of alcohol or any sign of medications. Nicolosi could have had a medical problem and passed out. Nicolosi was transported by ambulance to CHI Livingston Memorial Hospital to be checked out. No citations were issued. Nicolosi's vehicle was recovered by Larry's Towing & Recovery out of Onalaska.
