How Long Can You Stay in the Philippines on a Tourist Visa?
If you're planning to visit the Philippines, here’s a quick guide to help you understand your tourist visa options:
• Free Entry (30 Days): Most nationalities get a free 30-day visa upon arrival.
• Regular Extension (59 Days): After your initial 30 days, you can extend your stay for up to 59 days. This costs between ₱3,000 and ₱5,000 for every renewal.
• Long-Stay Visitor Visa Extension (LSVVE): Want to stay even longer? You can apply for the LSVVE, which lets you extend your stay for up to 6 months. The cost is approximately ₱12,000.
The Bureau of Immigration (BI) now offers an online system to make extensions easier. So whether you're enjoying island hopping, cultural experiences, or simply relaxing, staying longer is convenient!
🌴🇵🇭 Enjoy your time in paradise!
