The Millennial will take place after Jesus comes to earth at the end of the Tribulation period. He will rule from Jerusalem and it will be a time of peace and prosperity on earth. Those who were martyred during the tribulation time and the church that was raptured at the beginning of the 7 year tribulation will rule and reign with Christ over the earth. There will be Christians who survived the 7 years they will go into the 1000 years as mortals and will re-populate the earth.
